What to Expect Upon Arrival into Canada

We recognize and respect the upheaval and transition our immigration clients go through by coming to Canada to work, either on a temporary or permanent basis.

We will ensure that your arrival is welcoming and will provide you with full settlement services once you land in Canada. We will ensure that you have accommodation for the first few days after arrival and are taken to your place of employment. 

We will provide you with a relocation package that includes information on your new community and relevant contact information.

Our aim is to remove as much of the arrival stress as possible and to ensure that your experience in Canada is a positive one.

What settlement services are available?

  • Meet and greet by our representative at the airport on the day of your arrival
  • Assistance with:
    • housing;
    • banking;
    • application for medical;
    • application for social insurance number;
    • emergency numbers;
    • local medical clinics;
    • leisure activities; and
    • the local community in which you will be residing.
  • Assistance with opening a bank account
  • Assistance with travel arrangements to your employer's property
  • Cross cultural information for Foreign Worker covering:
    • business and workplace;
    • lifestyles and leisure time;
    • statutory holidays;
    • Canadian traditions, regional information; and
    • public transportation system.
  • Assistance with permanent residency application if applicable at end of 12 month visa
